Terms of Sale

These terms of sale govern all sales made on our website, operated under the brand Marvaney. Placing an order means you accept these terms of sale without reservation. The seller is Marvaney, Merrion Way, Leeds LS2 8PA, United Kingdom.

1. Products
Our rings are described and presented as accurately as possible. Wood, antler, shell and sandstone inlays are natural materials and vary from one ring to another. Meteorite and opal inlays are lab-created materials, dinosaur bone inlays are imitation, and gold-coloured foil inlays are imitation foil. Our Damascus steel is forged. Photographs and descriptions are provided for guidance and may show slight differences, which do not make Marvaney liable.

2. Prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include all applicable taxes. Delivery is free, and no extra charges are added on delivery. Marvaney reserves the right to change its prices at any time; the price that applies is the one in force when you place your order.

3. Orders
Your order is validated after you accept these terms and your payment is confirmed. A confirmation email summarising your order is sent to you. Marvaney reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of dispute, suspected fraud or unavailability. If so, you will not be charged, or you will be refunded in full.

4. Payment
Payment is made online, securely (encrypted connection), using the payment methods available at checkout. Your card is charged when your order is validated. We do not store any full payment card details on our servers.

5. DeliveryThe terms, area and times of delivery (free delivery in the United Kingdom, preparation in 2 to 3 business days, delivery in 7 to 12 days) are set out in our Shipping Policy.

6. Personalised rings
Inner personalisation is optional and free, and is made by laser, up to 20 characters. It is permanent. Because personalised rings are made specifically for you, they cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged, unless they are faulty, damaged, incorrect, not as described, or we made an error (for example, wrong text, or a size different from your order). You are responsible for checking your text and your ring size before you order.

7. Right to cancel and returns
You have a legal right to cancel of 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, extended to 30 days as a commercial gesture. Returns of standard (non-personalised) rings are free for you, and no restocking fee is charged. Your first size exchange is free, and each additional size exchange costs £9.99. 8. Legal guarantees
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If your ring is faulty, you are entitled to a refund, repair or replacement as the law provides. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

9. Liability
Rings should be used as intended (for example, avoiding heavy impacts and harsh chemicals), and Marvaney cannot be held liable for misuse. We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, including your statutory rights.

10. Intellectual property
All content on the website (texts, visuals, logo, brand) is protected and remains the exclusive property of Marvaney. Any reproduction without permission is prohibited.

11. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, in line with UK data protection law.

12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are unhappy with your order, contact us at hello@marvaney.com and we will do our best to find an amicable solution first.
